My twist on a traditional Scottish ceremonial cup.
This two handled cup is finished on the rim with 24k gold lustre that adds a really special touch. Perfect for a wedding gift or to be used during the ceremony.
A loving cup, or in Scots a "Quiach" is a shared drinking container traditionally used at weddings and banquets or other special occasions. It has two handles as it is passed around and shared by a group in a ceremonial fashion. It is originally a Scottish tradition, but can also be found in parts of Europe. Normally it would be a wee dram of whisky drunk from one of these!
They make the perfect Valentines gift, or wedding cup.
7cm High, 14cm wide at rim. Holds aprox 300ml.
All cups are made to order so please be aware that it will take a minimum of two weeks and may differ slightly from the photograph.
